SIR KITCHINER'S
KIOSK
This project showcases a design solution for a Kiosk that is located within the food court of a mall. The allocated space for this Kiosk was 68 square feet and accommodates preparation, minimal food and supply storage, and an ADA accessible checkout point.
The Kiosk serves potato chips, and I designed the logo, branding and storefront space.
The design and branding of this kiosk space were inspired by the origin of the potato chip. William Kitchiner, an English optician, inventor and cook wrote a cookbook in the early 19th century titled, “The Cook’s Oracle” which included a recipe for potato crisps as well as condiments. With this in mind, I turned to images of an Old English Pub for inspiration
