Cotopaxi is an outerwear company that values sustainability, transparency, fun and giving back. This design solution for their new headquarters located in Atlanta, GA reflects their values and culture as a company. This office space allows employees to feel supported and empowered in their work environment. Additionally, the design of this space lends itself to transparency, allowing all employees to feel comfortable approaching one another, regardless of status. This design offers a sense of flexibility. Finally, the design of this space was inspired by the landscape of the Andes mountains, where the Cotopaxi volcano is located. Specifically the design of the stairs is reflective of a winding mountain path with enclaves and places to rest along the way for employees to utilize.
